We take our responsibility as a German company with overseas operations very seriously and strive to create opportunities in the sustainable energy sector for youngsters. We support local training initiatives and the vocational school fundacion "cristo vive" in one of the lesser privileged areas of Santiago de Chile. We were able to employ young men to install our photovoltaic plant in the Atacama Desert, giving them the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in the field for the first time.
Fundacion "cristo vive" was established in Chile by the German nun Caroline Mayer in the the underprivileged area "Quinta Bella" and employs almost four hundred people.
In addition to providing health care to thousands, the goal of Sister Caroline is to create job opportunities in the sector of sustainable energy for youngsters who do not have apprenticeship training. We support her initiative by providing technology and know-how.
